Methods of challenging decisions If a person considers that his right to access to information of public interest has been violated, he may address an administrative complaint to the manager of the public authority or institution to which the information was requested in accordance with the provisions of Art. 21 par. (2) of Law no. 544/2001 regarding the free access to public information, as subsequently amended and supplemented, as well as art. 32-34 of H.G. no. 123/2002 approving the Methodological Norms for the application of Law no. 544/2001 on free access to information of public interest. Administrative complaint patterns are found in Annexes 5 (for negative response) and 6 (for failure to respond within the legal deadline) of the Methodological Norms.
