The Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Council (CDRBI) is a deliberative regional body without legal personality that is set up and operates on partnership principles at the level of the Bucharest-Ilfov Development Region in order to coordinate the development and monitoring activities deriving from the development policies regional.
It comprises, in parity, persons from the local public administration of Bucharest and Ilfov County.
The CDRBI is headed by a president and a vice president, positions that are occupied for a one-year mandate and held by rotation by the General Mayor of Bucharest and by the President of the Ilfov County Council.
The Secretariat of the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Council is provided by the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency. The ADRBI Director attends all meetings of the Regional Development Council.
In exercising its attributions, the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Council adopts resolutions by consensus. If this is not done, the decisions will be taken by vote, with the simple majority of the members present.
